Kristi Zimmerman, DVM practice owner
Dr. Zimmerman developed her love for animals while growing up in New Jersey.
As a child she had a variety of pets including goats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils and of course, cats and dogs. At the age of 5, she had already decided to become a veterinarian.

After high school, she obtained her BS in Zoology at George Washington University. She feels fortunate to have experienced all that Washington DC has to offer.

Prior to veterinary school, she attended the University of Maryland at College Park for graduate coursework and interesting research internships at the National Institutes of Health. She attended the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine from 1991-1995.
A one year internship at the San Diego Zoo after graduation led her west, but she returned to New Hampshire in 1996. During the many years that she has practiced in NH, she has gained valuable medical, surgical and management experience at a number of local veterinary hospitals.
Dr. Zimmerman is a member of several professional organizations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

When Dr. Zimmerman is not at the hospital, she enjoys gardening, hiking, antiquing, working out and most of all riding Ramsey, her Morgan horse.
She also loves spending time with her dog Zurich and cat Jolson. (You will see their photos throughout the website).
